Building posts is the core part of SoSha - these are the ready-made content that your community will share.
Follow these steps to craft engaging, shareable posts for your community:
Select to the toolkit you'd like to create content within on your SoSha dashboard.
Once you've entered the toolkit, click ‘+ New Post’ on the left hand side.
Choose the social platforms you want your community to share to.
Key Tip: Use variations to tweak posts for each social platform.
Every social platform is different. Tailor the copy and image aspect ratios for each platform to match what performs best.
Optimized variations can significantly increase shares.
Start with the platform you’re most comfortable writing for, and use the AI to generate the remaining variations.
Add Post Elements - These elements are optional depending on the type of post you'd like to create for your community.
Text: Write in the voice of your target audience to encourage sharing. Include a clear call to action (e.g., click, sign a petition, or donate).
Key Tip: You can Use double brackets to add fill-in-the-blank prompts
For example: “I’m so proud to support this cause because [[Enter your own reason here]]”.
You can also use the double [[brackets]] to create fill-in-the-blank fields in posts, captions, and links that automatically prefill using URL parameters like "brackets=content."
Keep an eye on the character count in the bottom right of the textbox. This will alert you if a post is too long to comply with selected social media platform character counts.
Visuals - Upload photos, videos, or GIFs or enable the ‘User Generated Content’ feature for users to add their own visuals.
You can upload up to 10 media files per post but note that some platforms like X and Bluesky only allow 4 media files per post.
